Imaginative is certainly a word that can be associated with Simmons Bar. With sites now across London – Kings Cross, Camden, Soho, Shoreditch and Fitzrovia all now host this quirky set-up – you could be forgiven you’ve crawled into Wonderland once you’re through the doors. These late night cocktail bars not only boast fantastic Happy Hours but crank up the music for dancing late into the night.
‘Sex with a TeaPot’ and other such saucy drinks show you the mixologists here have a devilish side. They certainly name their drinks more honestly than other establishments. Other such gems include ‘Golden Sour’ (don’t worry, it’s just bourbon with lemon and golden syrup) and the classic ‘Pornstar Martini’ with vanilla vodka, passion fruit liqueur and prosecco. It’s all just a little saucy.
All come served up in dainty teacups and walls are lit with a skull disco ball. Simmons certainly knows how to have fun.
