The hills are alive with the sound of….well, what doesn’t Switzerland offer to you? It has good cheese, good snow and wonderful hospitality. We’re not sure how it can be beaten.
Travel is ultimately about going to places from which you never entirely come back
Think Soho House on snow and you’re pretty much there when it comes to Le Grand Bellevue. After an extensive refurbishment, this hotel is luxury personified. With a huge 3,000 sq m spa, indoor pool, Michelin-starred restaurant and fondue hut at the end of the drive, Le Grand Bellevue has it all.
La Cordee des Alpes is a beautiful 4-star hotel located on the ede of town with a convenient hotel shuttle to take you to and from the ski lifts. The Alpine-designed 32 bedrooms mostly boast balconies and fantastic views. With a gorgeous restaurant and bar, they also have a fantastic spa with swimming pool, sauna and steam room.
Set high on a rock with views to die for, The Omnia is located in one of the most iconic buildings in Zermatt. You take a glass elevator through the rock up to 1,650 metres above sea level. With 30 contemporary bedrooms and fantastic restaurant, you can relax and unwind in the wellness spa with its indoor/outdoor pool. Their terrace is perfect for sunny days but you can spend the night drinking in the Cavern Bar, which floats over a sea of water in a man-made cave.
