You may be slap-bang in the heart of Druidville but no robes are required. Bivouac is luxury, rustic eco-yurts dotted around Yorkshire woods. The added bonus is the proximity of the slightly less eco Swinton Park.
If you’ve exhausted your eco-capabilities you can head for some pampering and some electricity (torches are required in the woods and hot water ‘is not guaranteed’). Or embrace your inner Frodo and take the plunge cooking on the open fire and feeling at one with nature.
The woodland shacks sleep up to 7 and offer self catering (although you can stock up in the on-site café) so it’s a great one for a hen-do if they’re more adventurous than the norm.
