Fischer’s

You may not expect a trip out to a Viennese café will have you running out the door ready to pounce on that reservation. But the relaxed Marylebone favourite Fischer’s welcomes celebrities and foodie patrons alike with the same excellent service for their all-day dining menu. Work your way through the Austrian and Hungarian wines (you can order most of them by the glass so there’s no excuse not to try them all) and the sauerkraut is not to be missed. We particularly like starting the day with their Austrian grostl; a spicy mound of paprika roasted potatoes with bacon, onions and a fried egg. Not one for the dieters but delicious all the same. In fact, Austrian food doesn’t lend itself to our waistlines. Tea is also available here with the prettiest and dainty pastries which are all baked on site. The hot chocolate also happens to be excellent. Just as it should be in an homage to all things Austrian and yummy. Undo that top button and get stuck in.
