It may seem that the hotel is intent on showing you the full Play-doh colour chart in full force but don’t let the slightly garish interiors put you off Bedruthan Hotel and Spa. This coastal hotel is in fact a cleverly designed crèche where the kids are whisked away (babysitting is provided or they can join the kids club for the day) you can sneak off to one of the adults-only areas, the pool, the spa of an afternoon or enjoy some respite in the tranquility lounge with a good book.
Bedrooms are spacious designed to welcome varying family dynamics and they won’t bat an eyelid when you ask for a bottle warmer or baby monitor. They even provide home-cooked baby food, childrens’ menus (nut-free and low in salt of course) whilst you settle in for a freshly-caught fish dish and a well-deserved glass of Sauvignon.
When you’ve managed to pull them out of the ball pool, you can head for the beach kitted out with the hotels’ kids backpacks ready for a day of adventure. This is the one-stop-shop for tired parents and lively children, all living in harmony under one roof with the lure of buckets and spades on the beach when you need some fresh air. What a winner.
