You’ll know why the Hoste Arms is a local institution when you arrive. It’s everything a coastal pub should be. Goodness me, it makes us proud to be British sometimes. There’s endless options for accommodation (check out the Railway House and Cottage for a night to remember) and the menu boasts the likes of pea and mint ravioli, lemon sole with brown shrimp and dressed Cromer crab.
Just steps from the beautiful Norfolk coastline it’s a great weekend destination when donning the welly boots and needing a bit of sea air. Luckily even the local shops and restaurants are as chi-chi as can be (expect soba noodles and Fortnum tea – this is not a land of Lea and Perrins) so if you stay in one of their self-catered options you will not short of luxury goods to fill up your shopping basket with.
Supporting local suppliers and producers you’ll be swimming in local cheeses, meats and even locally picked mushrooms. And the cherry on top? They even have a Spa. Get. in. the. car. now.
