Having transformed the fortunes of Brook Green, Sebastian & Lana Snow turned their attentions to the hottest rural postcosde. Nestled between Burford and Lechlade-on-Thames, the Five Alls in Filkins offers quintessential Cotswold chic. Roaring log fires have you hooked. Handy then that they have a stunning menu (it ain’t cheap but you’re paying for the exceptional produce they use) and rather dashing sofas.
Known to keep Kate Moss happy of a weekend, this is also a great summer spot with a gorgeous beer garden and english mojito’s on tap. Tuck into a menu of flat breads with serrano ham and dips to start, potted shrimps, vacherin with roasted garlic, severn vale smoked salmon…you can see how the table orders mount up.
You can also stay over in one of their simple-but-sophisticated bedrooms. They cater for small babies and children (you will need to bring your own cot) or just escape for a weekend of feather down duvets, local ales and plenty of good walks to work off that vacherin.
