Sat Bains has certainly put Nottingham on the map with his two star Michelin starred Restaurant Sat Bains with Rooms. Regularly mentioned as one of the best restaurants in the British Isles, we couldn’t have been more delighted when they made a savvy move by adding eight gorgeous bedrooms to make it into a destination in more ways than one. Now you can enjoy the gastronomic delights without having to think about the M1 on your way home.
Nottingham is no stranger to some mighty fine chefs digging their heels in to put the Midlands on the map (Hart’s deserves an honourable mention whilst we’re at it). Choose from their 40-seat restaurant, a similar sized conservatory or the chef’s table where you can enjoy their famed 7 course taster menu at £95 per person combining extraordinary flavours to show off their skills in the kitchen.
Then roll back to one of the individually designed bedrooms loosening those buttons on the way. With complimentary Aesop toiletries they’ve definitely understood what guests are after and some of the rooms have private patios, perfect for a summers day. Don’t expect the furnishings to blow you away but for the gastronome you couldn’t pick a better treat than a visit to Sat Bains.
