Ham Yard Hotel has popped up with surprising ease on what was once a derelict sight just a stone’s throw from Piccadilly Circus. You cannot beat staying a night in one of their 91-individually designed bedrooms offering much needed space and comfort in a busy city, but it’s the gorgeous bar and restaurant downstairs that win guests and non-residents over on a daily basis. The service is slick but the whole hotel has a country feel to it; rustic in its soft furnishings with plenty of outside light being let in at every opportunity.
