The Walnut Tree

Shaun Hill turns everything he touches to gold gaining a Michelin star at Gidleigh Park to then turn focus to the Welsh valleys. Of course he accomplished one at The Walnut Tree as well. Bit of an over-achiever.

You arrive to your room in the adjoining Old Post Office and likely dismiss your mobile for the weekend. It won’t be much use here and the reception is dodgy anyway.

When there’s all this food to eat you will be rolled back to your room. It’s one for the boys what with suckling pig and veal kidneys on the menu but there’s plenty of local fish to keep the girls happy too. Take a hearty appetite.
