Dalloway Terrace

Set in the heart of historic Bloomsbury, Dalloway Terrace really comes up trumps in all weathers what with their heated terrace in winter and their fully retractable roof in the summer months. Along with their understanding of temperature control, they have also surpassed themselves with the decor, having had their covered terrace transformed into a magical winter wonderland for the festive season. Step into your very own Narnia with fur blankets and sparkling winter trees galore.

The Bloomsbury ‘set’ of the 1920’s will forever be linked to Virginia Woolf and the like so it’s no surprise that they’ve named the restaurant after one of her eponymous characters. Luckily the food is altogether more modern; Dorset crab on toast, crispy pig cheeks and organic smoked salmon with Guinness bread are just some of the starters on offer, and the mains feature all the classics with some surprise additions such as loin of venison and miso cod.

Just a short walk from Soho and a stone’s throw from Oxford Street makes Dalloway Terrace a great pit stop when Christmas shopping. Open from 11am daily, they also offer a rather fantastic brunch menu which we’d recommend with a cheeky ‘Raspberry Russell’ champagne cocktail to get the day off to a flying start.
