Brown Cow

Housing Fulham’s finest the Brown Cow has even been known to serve a certain Prince. It’s this understated elegance that has kept those fickle locals returning giving The Brown Cow first-port-of-call status whether it’s a beer with a mate or supper with the in-laws. We mainly like it for red wine and scotch egg Sundays. Yes, that’s a thing.

With its cosy booth seating it welcomes you with a big cosy hug. There are even doggy biscuits left out for our four-legged friends so be sure not to leave Fido at home. The menu is very much a seasonal affair and it’s a real crowd-pleaser with the men. Foie gras and chicken liver parfait makes way for bubble and squeak cake with a fried duck egg and hollandaise sauce. Slow roasted pork belly and rump of lamb with crispy sweetbreads also feature so perhaps book in the personal trainer for the following day.

We’re best left to brew there for maximum impact for 6 hours.
