With 200 acres of parkland to explore Swinton Park certainly works up an appetite. Which is rather handy seeing that it’s kitchen garden spans 4 acres and helps stock their on-site cookery school with bountiful supplies of local produce. Winner of the ‘Family Friendly Hotels’ category of the Good Hotel Guide in 2016, they keep those tots entertained with a playroom full of toys, a private cinema, parkland to explore, kites and bikes to use outdoors and even children’s cookery courses.
The estate offers heaps of activities including fishing and walking. You can even try your hand at falconry but if birds don’t tickle your fancy you can head to the spa. Which is a far more sensible plan in our eyes.
