Excitingly, we can now offer rooms at the UK’s hippest hotel – Chiltern Firehouse. Designed to feel like your home away from home (albeit in a very trendy, super slick way), hotelier André Balazs has once again created the hotel we all need but didn’t know we wanted. Featuring 26 suites and an award-winning restaurant and located around the corner from Marylebone Station, expect celeb-spotting to be at an all-time-high when staying here.
It’s worth a trip just to check out Firehouse restaurant. World-renowned Michelin-starred chef Nuno Mendes (he of Taberna do Mercado fame) has created a tasty menu of Mediterranean titbits; crab donuts, Galician octopus, black truffle burrata. Staff are exceptionally beautifully with uniforms provided by Stella McCartney. As we said, this is a destination in itself.
Rooms feature working fireplaces, king beds and spacious bathrooms. It may be a tad on the expensive side but this will feel like your own flat in the heart of one of the nicest parts of London. Rooms even have their own fridge so you can pretend you’ve moved in permanently.
